This 34 year-old lady presented with 3 year history of enlarging and increasingly painful varicose veins in her right leg. Despite wearing insurance mandated compression hose her symptoms persisted and the varicose veins continued to spread and get larger.
Her treatment consisted of Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLT), Micro-phlebectomy and ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy. Correct diagnosis and accurate treatment resulted in excellent results indicated by this follow-up photograph obtained in more than 2 years after her treatment.
